We established our school in 2014 in a rural area, serving students from economically disadvantaged families in Kaliabor. We began modestly, with only 7 students, but enrolment gradually grew to 300 over 13 Years.
Our institution is affiliated with the Assam State School Education Board; earlier, it was known as AHSEC. Now, as per Government directive, it is known as Senior Secondary School. We impart education at the Lower, Upper Primary, and Secondary classes. In secondary classes, we teach both Commerce and Arts faculties.
As a rural-based educational institution, we focus on vocational subjects that help young students build skills in their chosen fields. In a changing economic and social landscape, youth must face challenges armed with strong educational skills.
In our teaching methods, we place great importance on teachers as knowledge facilitators, using unbounded, innovative instructional approaches and promoting innovative thinking.
In a changing socio-economic scenario, the youth is the builder of the future. The aspirants should be well acquainted with new spectrum of challenges brought by the new global economy. The youth of today should not only be acquainted with the new technologies, innovative manufacturing and business practices, but also in agriculture and allied subjects which are prominent challenges in rural economies like Assam.
The KG Institute, with its very humble beginning, aims to start a process of making young leaders for the future. The KG Institute is a place of multipurpose learning.
K&G are the initials of Late Khageswar Hazarika and Late Ghanakanti Hazarika of Ulluoni Village, Kaliabor, Nagaon, Assam.
The religious and upright man, Late Khageswar, was an ardent advocate of practical education and helped students from low-income families continue their education. However, he had to abandon his education due to financial hardship. His wife, Late Ghanakanti, supported her husband with selfless dedication. So the institute was built in cherished memory of inspiring personalities LATE KHAGESWAR HAZARIKA AND LATE GHANAKANTI HAZARIKA.

শ্ৰেণীকোঠাৰ বাহিৰেও প্ৰশিক্ষণ, ক্ষেত্ৰ পৰিদৰ্শন, বিশেষজ্ঞৰ বক্তৃতা ইত্যাদি দিশ সংযোজিত হ'ব। পৰম্পৰাগত শিক্ষাৰ আৰ্হিৰ পৰিৱৰ্তে নতুন শিক্ষাৰ আৰ্হি গ্ৰহণ কৰা হ'ব।
Our strength will be method and system of learning and teaching. Apart from rigour of classroom academics, our model integrates a spectrum of additional components that includes Training & Exchange Programme, Industrial & Field Visit, Study Trips, Lectures by Experts, Seminar, Specific Skill Training, Project Guidance etc.
